Hiyacar Drives Sustainable Mobility at North Middlesex University Hospital

North Middlesex University Hospital is taking a significant step towards greater sustainability and efficiency with the official launch of its pool car service on April 22nd, made possible by Hiyacar. This initiative promises to transform the way staff commute, ensuring seamless transportation for clinical duties while reducing environmental impact.

The distance driven by grey fleet vehicles in the public sector is estimated to be 1.5 billion miles per year at a cost of £786 million. By embarking on this new initiative, North Middlesex Hospital is not only providing a more sustainable approach for transportation but they will also be reducing the amount of CO2 emitted by grey fleet vehicles, which in the public sector is enough to fill Wembley stadium 56 times.

16 Vehicles, Infinite Possibilities

With Hiyacar’s support, North Middlesex University Hospital will have access to a fleet of 16 vehicles conveniently stationed at North Middlesex University Hospital (N18 1QX) and St. Michael’s Hospital Site (Gater Drive, Enfield, EN2 0JB). This comprehensive fleet caters for the diverse needs of hospital staff, providing reliable transportation whenever and wherever it’s needed.
