London to Brighton

1: London to Brighton

1hr 42 minutes

Distance: 53.6 miles

The UK is filled with some incredibly scenic places and a lot of hidden gems, here at hiyacar both our team and our amazing community of drivers have taken some memorable road trips that we’d like to share with you. Our series of UK road trips should hopefully help you when you are planning your next weekend away. Here are some ideas for the upcoming bank holiday in May:

Brighton Pier

Brighton is one of the most popular road trips for people who want to take a break from the fast paced capital city and breathe in the refreshing air whilst taking a stroll down the sea -front. It’s only 1 hour and 42 minutes away from London and is also known as “London by the sea.”

2: Brighton to Seven Sisters (Sussex)

46 minutes

Seven Sisters Country Park

If you are already in Brighton for the weekend you could drive across the coast for 46 minutes and visit the beautiful Seven Sisters Country Park. If you are on a family trip, the Seven Sisters offers fascinating Geography and History lessons. The visitor centre in the park provides a lot of useful information and can help you plan your visit when you get there.

3. Seven Sisters to Surrey Hills and back to London

2 hours

Surrey Hills

If you aren’t keen on a 2 hour journey back to London from Seven Sisters you could stop over at The Surrey Hills, for lunch. Guilford is a lovely town situated within the Surrey Hills, walk along its cobbled streets and take a look in one of the many high street shops. If it’s a sunny day and you can eat outside you’ll be able to see the rolling Surrey Hills in the distance.
