Known as ‘London-by-the-Sea’, you’re going to want to pack your swimsuit! This gorgeous part of England’s south-east coastline offers lovely pebble beaches and great views. Head down to Brighton’s main beach, and take in the sights of Brighton’s famous Palace pier as you paddle, or, if you want to get away from the crowds, take just a 12 minutes drive east along the coast to Rottingdean Beach.

This magnificent Grade I listed 18th century palace is one of the many architectural marvels Brighton has to offer. Head inside the Royal Pavilion to be transported back to the Regency Era, with bedrooms and reception rooms still in their original 18th century style. On sunnier days, a wander around the highly-manicured Regency-style gardens should be top of your to-do list. Fan of history, art and (or) photography? Head just a 50 minute drive east along the coast to the famous Seven Sisters chalk cliffs, situated in the beautiful Seven Sisters Country Park. This spot is a great place to immerse yourself in nature; perfect for coastal walks and wildlife spotting, and of course, marvelling at the gorgeous chalk sea cliffs.
