London’s First Dual-Use Hybrid Car Club: A New Era in Shared Mobility
We’re delighted to announce the launch of three new hybrid vehicles available to rent as part of our car club in Tower Hamlets! These vehicles are part of a groundbreaking trial that’s the first of its kind in London, showcasing innovative thinking to promote car sharing and reduce emissions.
✨ Here’s what’s different:
During weekdays (8 AM - 6 PM), these vehicles will be used by the council for their essential activities. But after 6 PM on weekdays and throughout the weekend, they’re all yours to rent!

- Stepney Way, London, E1 2EN (2 vehicles)
This partnership with Tower Hamlets council demonstrates an exceptional use of public funds, maximising the utilisation of shared vehicles. Car clubs are most popular in the evenings and on weekends, while the council primarily needs vehicles during the day. Tower Hamlets council has embraced forward-thinking to ensure shared resources benefit everyone.
