"Car was not clean inside and out. Got stuck at some point, not being able to start the car or take the key out. Had to contact customer services. Wasted quite a bit of time. Could connect phone, but not for satnav. **The car flags that maintenance is required for the oil. Has. not bee attended to.**"

"This car was not fit to drive. It was also very dirty on the outside. I had to spend time and money cleaning it. I had to take it to Kwikfix to get the air in the tyres equalised and they checked the engine as it was sounding odd. They said the timing belt was very worn out and cracked and needed replacing and that the car wasn’t fit to drive. I had to then book another one. It wasted my time by 2 hours which delayed my journey. Not at good experience"

"I had an absolute nightmare parking at the end of the rental. There was no parking available on the street I was asked to leave it on. I then got caught up in a one-way system and ended up spending an hour driving round an unfamiliar area of London trying to find a parking space. I was told to park in a specific parking zone so I had to google for a PDF map which I had to try to align with mapping on my phone. The owner needs to give more advice on places where this car can be left at the end of the rental. DO NOT turn left out of Coster Avenue or you will have to drive many miles to get back the area where you need to park."

"Hiya in general is great and love the service. This particular car is a bit tired, windscreen wipers are a bit streaky, and at least the interior needs a clean, but it still drives well.
Note: I’d recommend taking a phone cable cus there is no sat nav built in."

"Easy to locate, use (a few turns to get hang of the app but pretty user friendly!) and so handy. Really great service to have in London! Car has a few existing dents/scrapes/flaws and wasn’t super clean inside but served my purpose well and drove like a dream. Loved using this and would 100% recommend!"

"The car drove very well.. slightly high biting point in the clutch but got used to it.
All the Hiyacar app worked well.
The car was pretty unclean, mainly the floors/carpets and the dashboard/plastic,
Car was super close by and convenient!
Will definitely hire again!

"The car needs a clean inside and out and when I got in the car I got a notification saying the oil needs refilling. Also the CarPlay is a bit faulty. It kept disconnecting when I was trying to follow the satnav which was quite inconvenient"

"Car was filthy and boot doesn't stay up. Car also broke down due to battery fault, but this appears to have been a random occurrence. Hiyacar were good in dealing with breakdown and RAC came out and replaced the battery."

"3rd time I’ve had this car. It wouldn’t start and I was barely able to return it. Last time I informed hiyacar of the issue and I assumed it was sorted other wise I wouldn’t be able to book the car again. The fault hasnt been resolved. If you’re going to make cars available for hire you should service them"

"Easy to drive, and spacious given the size. However, like I've seen in previous reviews, the front right door doesn't open from the outside, and the servicing light comes on and stays on pretty much the whole time. Same for the tyre pressure light. Time to give this car a check perhaps? Luckily it all went well during my trip.
Also, the unlock and start system through the phone doesn't always work seamlessly. Especially where there is little or no mobile signal. It can be challenging to restart the car in such conditions."

"The car is in average condition. It wasn’t clean, and we had to clean some parts of the interior ourselves at the beginning. I know it is not Hiyacar’s fault, but the previous users with bad hygiene and no collective responsibility. About the car, the clutch is totally worn, and there was a mechanical amber pilot light constantly on in the dashboard. We had sometimes issues to start the car. Apart from that the rental was smooth and straightforward. We love having a shared car at our front door, and we wish we had more cars available ."
