"Please do not rent this car - read below why. I rented this car to mostly drive around London, so I ignored the previous reviews on this car saying that they had troubles unlocking the car when in the country with poor internet connection. The car itself is fine, however there is something wrong with the locking mechanism. At first I had troubles picking up the car is it wouldn’t connect (I was on 5G, iPhone 13 Pro) and the car wouldn’t unlock. I messaged the support and they replied in minutes, which was great. But before they even replied I’ve tried the door handle and found out the car was left open. But to start it, I had to message the support asking them to activate / unlock the car, which then allowed the engine to start. When I got to my destination, the app wouldn’t lock the car. The support tried locking it but it didn’t work. I had a horrible business trip having to ask people to watch my unlocked car while I went to work… The app simply didn’t work with this car."

"The keyless entry system is very poor in areas where phone reception is weak! I had several issues locking and unlocking the car. The car also needed a good clean, was very filthy inside."

"Was a last minute hire, but accessing the car etc was all very smooth. Only annoyance was there was no phone charger in the car, unlike any of the cars I’ve hired previously. Had to buy a phone charger on route from a petrol station so added another £19.50 to the hire…"

"This Seat has a deep clutch with short high release, a sensitive accelerator, and a tricky switch up from first to second gear. So out of the 100 or so types of car I’ve rented it’s not the nicest to drive in traffic/cities. But on road trips you won’t notice and the sound system is very decent."

"Great drive (power steering was out of this world) very nice easy drive. This car DOES come with keys so some conflicting info with the App. Also, opening the boot was a little more complicated as you need to double tap the drivers side unlock button and then go to the rear of the vehicle. The buttons on the key don’t work for this purpose. Lastly, the diesel cap is hidden next to the passanger door which was also a bit of a hassle to find. Customer support were very helpful but it wasn’t ideal to be calling support for such trivial things. However, the drive itself was smooth and made moving a lot easier!"
