"Excellent car, so convenient. Only issue was that we thought we had charged it, but when we unplugged just before returning it the car had no charged unfortunately. We followed instructions so not sure what happened!"

"Very unhappy with Hiyacar for a £60 cleaning fee after renting the car for a day. Pictures I was sent was dirt on the ground and slight spill on central console which was not visible at night when car returned. Hiyacar told me the car was valet was the day before and they expect it to be returned in the same way. I’ve been using Hiyacar for over 2 years and have used their cars on similar day trips with similar use and no issues. The customer service I received from Hiyacar is equally poor. The lack of customer obsession means this will be the last time I rent from Hiyacar as you can expect that you will get some surprise charges after use."

"Great car for a family weekend. Just be careful using fast chargers. Switch car off, plug in charger, then lock car. Bizarr but if it ain't working try this hack. You can then unlock and switch car on during charge."

"The payment card did not work at a BP EV charging pulse station, so had to use my own and there’s no way to get a receipt from those machines.
Also, the battery doesn’t hold much charge and does not match the estimated mileage that shows on the HUD. Not great for trips over 40mi.
Also had only 80% charge on pickup which was a real inconvenience as I had to stop twice to recharge during4.5 hours of driving.
The support I had was good this morning when the app marked my account as unverified, but still the bug shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Average experience overall."

"The car was amazing, so nice to drive and really lovely and clean. The only problem is that you’re expected to return it with the same amount of charge as you collected it with. We went to charge it at one of the recommended charge points and it said it would take over an hour. So we are expected to use at least an hour of the time we have paid to hire the car to charge it. This doesn’t seem right. There should be a charge point where you drop the car off so you can plug it in at the end of your hire period."
