"Faisal is a very helpful owner and the car is great. It’s an incredibly fuel efficient vehicle and was nice and clean. Only issue I had was with Bluetooth connectivity for music so next time I’d bring an aux cable, but would certainly hire again."

"We had a puncture and found the locking wheel nut was not in the vehicle, so we could not remove the flat or put the spare on. Fortunately, we called the AA through Hiyacar, who were able to help. They then found that the spare was flat - so even if the wheel nut had been in the car we would not have been able to use it without their assistance. Not only was this a huge inconvenience, but it was also very unsafe. Fortunately it happened in the daytime and we did not have to wait long for the AA, but it could have been very different. The owner was relatively responsive, but, as it was his responsibility to make sure the wheel nut was in the car, I cannot rate him more than 1 star. He has reassured me that he will rectify this for future hirers. It is great that Hiyacar includes AA cover, but Hiyacar themselves were more concerned with telling me I would need to pay for the tyre than my family’s safety. More minor niggles include out-of-date satnav and dirty interior."
