"Had problems when we got to the charging station and it said the card was not supported - hiya car just told us to pay and send the receipt and they would pay which they processes as soon as as I uploaded.
Also - realised after drop off that I had dropped my wallet in the car and they unlocked the car immediately for me.
The support team is always super helpful - just what you need when something is not working g as expected;)

"Great car and easy to drive, lots of space. BUT numerous technical issues - unable to lock the car, unable to unlock the car, unable to use fuel card as advised. Time and energy needed to address these issues spoiled the experience."

"Very new smooth big SUV.
Would not recommend for a long road trip unless familiar with EV charging and confident with charging stations planned on route.
Car only had 20% battery so had to charge up before driving out far.
Car does not have super fast charging, only max at 40/50kw, should have been made clearer before."

"The booking was great. It was my first time using an electric car and as I live within the Congestion Zone & ULEZ in London, it was ideal. Not only was it great for central London it was also ideal for the cities we visited (Bath & Bristol) which both had Clean Air Zones in the centre. The Instant Book and Phone Unlocking facilities were great and took out any stress of being late for pick up or having to wait for the owner to hand over keys. The fuel card was also an added bonus. The only issues I had with using an electric car is finding fast charging ports within cities. Stupidly I didn’t download the app and was trying to locate them on Google. In the end we did all the fast charging at motorway service stations where there was always an abundance of fast charging ports. Drop off was easy and I would certainly use Hackney Electric Car Club again."

"Car wasnt as good as i thought it would be. Navigation didnt work at all. Car had no charging wires for phone. Infotainment screen was slow."

"Had a great overall experience with renting the MG ZS EV car from Hackney car club. Vehicle was clean, all gear in perfect working order. Tried to charge it, just as a test, at a residential charging point - found the process way too slow so will look for alternative stations in future. A neighbour was adamant that ‘guest’ cars would incur a ticket on a match day (obviously wasn’t aware of the car club arrangements). Overall, very happy to recommend"

"It’s the charging that lets this car down. 90 minutes in Shell garage for a full charge. 2 out of the 3 Shell garages I went to did not have functional charging machines."
