Easy same day van hire in London comes to Hiyacar

Highly requested since Hiyacar first began, being able to rent vans on our platform was a dream of yours, and thus a dream of ours and now, van you believe it… the time has come! We’ve partnered with Moovon to get Hiyacar drivers (those over 25 years old, with min. 2 years of driving experience) out and about running errands, moving house and getting DIY done - offering you cheap, hassle-free van hire, on your doorstep.

You don’t just have Hiyacar to thank for this easy to book, easy to use new van rental solution, we’ve partnered with Moovon, to get these fantastic automatic Volkswagen Caddys online. If you’re a frequent Hiyacar renter, you may have seen Moovon’s many cars available to be booked on our app or website before, you may even have had the pleasure of renting one. We couldn’t think of a better partner for our move into van rental, than Moovon, who we’ve been working with seamlessly for the past year.

The VW vans now live and available on Hiyacar are ULEZ compliant, with unlimited mileage and no hidden fees! Fitted with our keyless Quickstart technology - meaning you can book them on your smartphone and jump in shortly after, to make your trip as easy and stress-free as possible. They’re also fitted with a USB port, phone holder and sat nav, so that you can travel safely to your destination, getting the most out of whatever you plan to use the van for.

One request was consistent in Hiyacar renter feedback since we launched, so we’re very happy to be able to offer you a now wider selection of vehicles, to fit your needs. These automatic Volkswagen Caddy vans are perfect for transporting equipment for small events, large amounts of luggage, for moving a family member into university, helping a friend move flat or picking up large purchases.

The Hiyavans are parked in easily-accessible locations, currently found on Folgate Street in Shoreditch, around the corner from Spitalfields Market, and on Duncan Terrace in Islington, near Angel tube station. These vehicles are part of the Hiyacar Car Club, meaning they’re allowed to be parked on street, with a universal permit for Tower Hamlets and Islington - meaning no parking fees in these areas!

If you’re a frequent Hiyacar driver you’ll know just how quick, easy and affordable it is to rent our vehicles using their keyless Quickstart technology. Hiyavans follow the same process, meaning you can be on your way in minutes! New to our platform? Not to worry! We’ve spent years honing, developing and refining our technology, to make our vehicle rental as quick, easy and hassle-free as possible… with in-app help available if you need it (though our service works so well, you won’t need it) to make sure our Hiyacar works as you need it to.
