"Great trip in this car! Only disappointing thing is that there was quite significant damage to the right wing mirror on pick up, although thankfully didn't impact its effectiveness. Otherwise it was a great car"

"The car was parked in completely the wrong street so time was wasted trying to find it whilst lugging luggage around in the rain. The interior was absolutely filthy, if it wasn’t for the fact we were already late I would have sought alternative transport. It is advertised as having Sat nav but then on trying to use it then realised needed a usb cable, no cable or holder in the car as advertised. The fuel tank wasn’t to full so on refuelling it took three attempts to match the previous level. If this was my first Hiya car experience it would probably be my last, but having had such a good one before I will give the service another go. The situation was resolved well in the end."

"Didn't really enjoy my ride today. The car has a pretty poor engine, very slow, heavy and loud. The pedals area also way too close for my (admittedly big) feet, so that I struggled to use them without pressing down two at the same time.
Last but not least, there was no phone holder in the car, making navigation very complicated and unpleasant. I would not hire this car again.
I've rented from this car owner three times now and always enjoyed my rides (bar today). However, I won't give him 5 stars for two reasons: 1) There were no antibacterial wipes in the car, although the description said there would be. 2) I contacted him once to ask about a charging cable I forgot in the car but he never replied.
Hiyacar is great, but it should make it easier to remember not to lock the car before starting the return process. I couldn't take a picture of the fuel gauge today because of this."
