"Car would not lock properly first time (or when I ended the booking) and had no radio aerial (we found it in the side storage), rear parking radar was broken and car exterior was dirty. Otherwise the experience was great with the car."

"First time renting with Hiyacar and will definitely be using them again. Excellent communication from the owner and the app gave me all the information I needed to complete necessary admin. The car was perfect for our needs. We took our 15yo son for a weekend at Alton Towers and there was plenty of room in the back for him to be comfortable. The only niggle was that the touchscreen display froze, which meant it was not possible to change the a/c temperature. A quick Google search showed that this is a common problem with the Peugeot 208, and was resolved by turning the engine off and back on again. All in all, really pleased we chose Hiyacar and will definitely be back when we need a car again 🙂"

"Really easy to book and great communication with the owner. Car was super clear and easy to drive, bonus being an automatic. A few issues with getting navigation to work (we never did) but otherwise smooth. Lots of cleaning products in the car to make cleaning easy. Only complaint is that there isn't a back up key in the glove box. My phone broke while on holiday and we were locked out the car without a way to get in, then had some issues reaching the support team at Hiyacar when we finally found a computer and phone to use. Would really benefit from having a back up key, as operating the car solely through the app is quite stress-inducing and a bit impractical for a longer trip (e.g, passenger can't pop back and get something from car without your phone)."
