"The original car I booked had an issue which meant it was not working, I only learned this when I turned up to pick up the car, . Already in a rush and slightly late, this made me very late and so stressed. I had to contact your help center to find me another car and it should have been the other way around. Even the guy fixing the car was surprised and apologetic. I was 30 min late to a very important meeting and was so frustrated that no one contacted me immediately when they knew there was a problem with the car. This was fixed once we got through to someone but could have been completely avoided if you communicated with me."

"- The car is lovely to drive and sips fuel so good for a long journey (although the phone interface is not good at all)
- Fuel not full at pick-up - this creates issues at drop off as it's very frustrating attempting to return it at the same level (as instructed)
- Car not very clean - this is a common problem I've had with other Hiyacar rentals.
- App only seems to work on iOS when 4G is available - this causes issues when out and about, especially where little / no phone coverage. I worry this will lock me out one day. Surely app should work regardless of phone coverage once the rental has commenced.
The above are only niggles. I have enjoyed my hiyacar experiences and really want it to take off and do well. Could do with some slightly larger cars though, the hatchbacks are not great for fitting in families + luggage."

"Really simple and straightforward process. The car was great, had a full tank of petrol, was clean and comfortable. The automatic entry and starting was easy. Having previously used Zipcar and Easy Car Club, Hiyacar is now definitely my preferred choice."
