"I’ve rented this car a few times now and the app locking function is a nightmare, having to repeatedly close and open the app in order for it to lock on about the 5th attempt. (There I am, trying to extol the virtues of car sharing with friends, but feeling quite silly). I’ve raised this previously but it’s clearly not been addressed. I’d expect more, given Hiyacar prices have rocketed over the past couple of years."

"The car was fine (ok, well the fuel gauge was in the red when I collected, which is obviously annoying).
The remote locking on this particular car was super annoying. Took 5+ attempts to lock the car each time, closing and reopening app, Bluetooth on/off etc. reported it to Hiyacar. A shame, embarrassing to be extolling the virtues of car sharing to my friends but they watched me fighting to lock the car."

"The vehicle location didn’t show up on the app so I had to contact hiyacar via their chat service which took a while. Then the pics wouldn’t submit so I wasted 30min trying to start the booking. The tank was only half full so hopefully I’ll get reimbursed for the extra fuel I put in. Not the best experience overall!"
