"Great service regarding answering any queries quickly, and the car is good. But was disappointed not to receive a refund for excess petrol I left in the car as this is the norm for all other similar companies and technology is there.
Also, when I extended my time, the price was raised to much higher than it would have been gad I booked these times initially. A bit sneaky, I thought"

"Overall this hire went well:
Plus points: clean and convenient place
Negative points:
- trying to understand how to open and lock the car
- taking photos of the car before being able to drive
- trying to follow all of the prompts given by the app before driving
These points ate a huge chunk out of my hire time.
When I tried to lock it after my rental, the app reminded me to refuel. Then to take a picture of the mileage and fuel gauge. Too late.
I hope I don't get penalised for not refuelling.
I will use again, but now I know I have to add on extra time to do all the above."

"Nice and easy. Car wasn't the cleanest and the navigation/ carplay didn't work which was kinda annoying but all in all the booking served it's purpose."

"First time using Hire Car and I was surprised at how easy it was. The only negatives I can say is that locking the car is very intermittent, sometimes you have to try upto 5 times before it locks. Also it drinks quiet a lot of fuel.
Also it would have been great if HireCar had a little poster in the car showing how to access some simple features of the car, such as how to change kph to mph, where to access radio stations from, etc. This took me a bit of time to figure out.
Apart from that everything was fantastic."

"The vehicle is great but the locking system was not working as smoothly as with other cars. Takes a couple of times to lock it sometimes, and it even starts the alarm a couple of times... Parking is really easy and convenient."

"Unlocking via the app with no keys for the trip is a bit hit and miss and comes with the constant anxiety of running out of battery or being in a no signal area. It also often fails to lock first time. I see the car has nfc capability in the keyless system. So why not issue cards like zipcar as a backup for emergencies?"
