"Generally good. Though I found on a couple of occasions that the car claimed the key wasn't present. Restarting the app / re-unlocking usually worked though on one occasion I had to contact support.
The in-car USB port didn't work reliably which meant that half the time we had no sat-nav on the screen."

"Good car in very nice condition. Only issues I had were with the technology where the app crashed my camera, and it took longer than it should trying to pick it up, otherwise it would have been 5 stars all the way.
For these hiyacar branded vehicles it would be nice if they came with dash cams, and maybe if hiyacar did have more of their own cars in area at least one could be slightly larger!"

"This was my first experience with Hiyacar and it was a little mixed. The car was exactly as advertised. Great condition, straightforward to unlock and get going. Unfortunately the car developed a fault about half way into a long journey and went into “limp mode”. I was able to get to a service station, and roadside assistance through AA and Hiyacar was arranged (fairly long delay, though not the fault of either AA or Hiya I think). The mechanic had trouble connecting his diagnostic kit to the car and couldn’t reset the multiple faults his system had identified. He topped up oil, which was low. I had trouble getting a rapid response from HC chat support. Slightly to my surprise, whatever the mechanic had done seemed to fix things and the car behaved perfectly for the next 300 miles. Hiyacar extended my booking helpfully so that I could get back in time. I will try again with Hiyacar. Might just have been unlucky this time."
