"Picked the car up in a rush, on closer inspection of the footwells and the boot the car was in need of a clean. The car had also been parked under a tree by the previous user, which is against the parking instructions and meant car was dirty and sticky on the outside. Finally, the vehicle doesn’t start with the key?! You first need to unlock the car, even though you’re already in it, and then turn the key in the ignition, otherwise the car doesn’t start, this was just a massive faff, the app didn’t connect to the car 50% of the time and would error. Not the kind of experience I’m used to with Hiyacar."

"Overall ease of booking is perfect and very efficient. However, car was in unsatisfactory condition - for example the boot is broken and doesn’t stay up, which is quite hazardous."

"Quick acceptance is perfect dor immediate needs. I normally use Ipcar for this kimd of bookings. But this cheaper. Of course if you can find a car near.
My mistake was I put a bit much petrol in this aa I couldn't guess how much i will spend.
Get 5 minites early if it's your first time.

"Great car, just needs a little cleaning inside and outside. Main problem experienced was when unlocking and starting the car. Hiya cars were great...they quickly resolved the issues.....very responsive....will hire from Hiya cars again (provided the cost is not too high)."

"Frustrating technical issues meant the car could not be located in the app and I was unable to find it on the specified street despite waking up and down. I had to reach out to Hiyacar to send me the location. When I finally found it, the app displayed error codes and I could not unlock the vehicle for the first two tries - this all made me very late for my appointment.
The Kia itself was comfortable and roomy if a bit sandy from someone’s trip to the beach as well as their empty coke cans.
If you aren’t used to automatics this one might catch you out - Kia’s dual clutch auto can dither and get a bit confused in the traffic. Not a major deal but I will get a manual next time.
Not a great first experience with Hiyacar but the support team were great and I’ll use the service again"
