"Nightmare hire. Van ran out of something called Adblue on the way to my destination delaying me by 2 hours. The electric key broke and I wasn't able to lock it for 4 days of my hire when I was parked without internet access. Worth noting that you also can't start the van without internet access. Finally, when I returned it I noticed on the van listing on the app that it comes with free fuel if you use the fuel card. Only spotted this after spending £60 on diesel. Hiyacar has given me £15 off my next booking which doesn't seem like fair compensation for the hassle and stree this has created."

"Really happy with Hiyacar. So much cheaper than other sites and very quick to sign up and get going. One small issue, but customer service was v quick & helpful and even comped us extra time that we had to miss due to a technical issue with the van. For any Ford Transit users: the van locked out & we couldnt figure out how to start it again even with customer service help. Turns out theres a steering wheel lock/immobiliser and all we needed to do was wiggle the wheel from side to side and the immobiliser disabled. Hiyacar: it would be a good idea to warn of this on the sticker on the dashboard that advises you to unlock again if you cant start the car, and to list this issue with the van info on the app. We lost over an hour talking to customer service & waiting for AA to find out it was so simple to fix. Great experience though overall!! Also add electric vehicles please! Divest from fossil fuels."

"After being screwed over by a traditional van company. Hiyacar really saved my move. I had the traditional van hire (enterprise. Will never use them again) cancel the night before. All your typical van hires had no vehicles. Then can across hiyacar. I got set up in less than an hour. Booked the van immediately. The previous hire ran a little over. But they extended my time because of it so not a real issue. It's very simple to use. Turn up, take your pictures inside and out, fuel gauge. Unlock using your mobile app. Take the key out the glove box and off you go. Keep in mind that if you unlock the vehicle you have 5 minutes to start the engine. Or you simply need to unlock on the app again. This is the way forward. Traditional van hires that are should and will. Head the way of the dodo. Apps like these are the future. The Live chat was pretty responsive and very professional about everything."

"Great drive (power steering was out of this world) very nice easy drive. This car DOES come with keys so some conflicting info with the App. Also, opening the boot was a little more complicated as you need to double tap the drivers side unlock button and then go to the rear of the vehicle. The buttons on the key don’t work for this purpose. Lastly, the diesel cap is hidden next to the passanger door which was also a bit of a hassle to find. Customer support were very helpful but it wasn’t ideal to be calling support for such trivial things. However, the drive itself was smooth and made moving a lot easier!"
