Firstly don't forget that there is a congestion charge if you drive into central London, some of our cars have this built into the pricing and will be specified if so, but it is something to be aware of. The congestion charge area is vaguely defined within the London Inner Ring Road; this also includes the financial district in the City of London, alongside the West End. As of 2019, the ULEZ charge has also been introduced within this area to keep the air cleaner.

Bus lanes are reserved solely for the use of buses and taxis within certain times, so make sure to avoid them during this period, otherwise you could receive a penalty charge for entering one. The speed limit varies dramatically from type of road and area you’re within.
